While Covid-19 has thrown life upside down. We at E-Waste Chicago have spent time putting together Covid-19 protocols. We are working continuously around the clock to improve these protocols as needs arise.
Pickups
All vehicles are sanitized on a daily basis. All vehicles are equipped with Disposable Gloves, Disposable Masks, Hand Sanitizer, Clorox Cleaning Wipes, along with a First-Aid kit and mini trashcan.
Advertisement Material
We will not be handing out advertisement material (new customer packet, info new services, ect.) these will be sent out electronically.
Repairs
All devices are disinfected using D-Germ by WeChem. Any device that comes into our shop for repair is disinfected before we look at it and disinfected right before you pick it up. This give every one assurance that the device is free of any germs.
On-Line Orders
Online orders will be disinfected using D-Germ by WeChem prior to shipping.
Recycling Drop-Offs
We will still accept drop off. However we are moving to a contact free approach. We understand some items are heavy and have a charge these would be the only exception to contact free drop off. Any items that have a fee will be listed on our recycling page. Please call us when you arrive and you will be guided with instructions.
Staff
Will receive temperature checks at the beginning of every work day. Staff will stay home if feeling sick. If a positive Covid-19 test comes back all of our staff will be tested as a percussion. We will follow CDC Guidelines on having staff quarantine for 14 days upon a positive Covid-19 test.

All office and warehouse commonly touched surfaces will be sanitized at the beginning of the work day. Commonly touch surfaces include but aren't limited to door knobs, light switches, keyboards, mice, ect. D-Germ by WeChem will be used for sanitation purposes.
